The Crescenta Valley High School a cappella group the Charismatics entertained shoppers with Christmas carols.

Plenty of shoppers checked gifts off their holiday lists on Saturday, thanks to the Annual Prom Plus Boutique.

The variety of vendors seemed to delight those who walked through the Crescenta Valley Park community room and courtyard. There was everything from one-of-a-kind photos to essential oils that help keep a car smelling fresh.

Those who attended the boutique and purchased gifts were also helping Crescenta Valley High School’s Prom Plus. For over two decades, Prom Plus has given CVHS seniors and their guests a safe and fun place to go after prom – from midnight to 5 a.m.

Prom Plus must raise over $20,000 each year to create the highly anticipated overnight party for local kids. The organization also needs many volunteers.

Any community members or parents who are interested in supporting Prom Plus, please email info@promplus.org or call (818) 248-2740. To find out more about Prom Plus, visit the website at www.promplus.org.
