Terry and Rhonda Newborg announced the engagement of their daughter Lauren Charlene Newborg to Josef Louis Ondrejcka.

Lauren is a 2003 graduate of Crescenta Valley High School, where she was in ASB and was a four-year member of the award-winning cheer squad. Lauren graduated from the University of Southern California, majoring in dental hygiene. Currently Lauren works as a registered dental hygienist for Dr. Lawrence Villareal and Dr. William Ashby in Pasadena and La Crescenta, respectively.

Josef is the son of Tom and Karen Ondrejcka. Josef is a 2002 graduate of La Cañada High where he was an All American in water polo and a CIF wrestler. Josef graduated from the University of Southern California, majoring in accounting information systems. Josef is currently a certified public accountant and an owner in Cabo North Partners, Inc., a real estate brokerage and services firm. Josef is currently attending Glendale University College of Law and plans to specialize in real estate and estate law.

Lauren and Josef will marry in July of 2012.
