The weather is cooling and many members of La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association and volunteers are now engaged in creating the 2017 Rose Parade Float. The float is taking shape!

Entering the last two months of the year all energy will be used to plan, un-plan and re-plan, coerce, and cajole volunteers and suppliers to building and decorating the float. New people who want to learn how floats are built and enjoy teamwork are invited to take part in this tradition. Artists, floral designers, engineers, specialty technicians “fabrication artisans” (formers and screeners), welders and painters are welcome. (So is everybody else.)

The La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association website www.lcftra.org is now open to schedule volunteers for Deco Week. Please take a moment to register. There are many positions to fill, and help is needed.
