The 13th annual dinner and auction A Harvest Fest was held Nov. 12 by the Church of Scientology of the Valley’s Women’s Auxiliary and attended by an estimated 165 people. The event was held at the Angeles National Golf Club in Sunland.

The silent auction included hundreds of items and the live auction had a dozen, including a condo for a week at Mammoth Lakes, a skiing or snowboarding coaching day with two-time world champion Bob Salerno, season tickets to the Colony Theatre in Glendale, a day’s shopping package at the Americana in Glendale, and more than 60 OXO utensils to fully stock any kitchen. Asian art expert and auctioneer Iz Chait of IM Chait Gallery in Beverly Hills made sure the bidding was fast and fun and everyone went home happy.

Proceeds will help fund the Church of Scientology of the Valley’s new building in the San Fernando Valley with additional assistance to the Glendale YWCA’s Domestic Violence Project, Edelman’s Children’s Court Shelter, Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights in Los Angeles, and other charitable causes.
