Dorian Recognized for Community Work
Dr. Armand Dorian, co-director of the Verdugo Hills Hospital Emergency Department and an emergency physician at the hospital for nearly 10 years, recently received the Professional Achievement Award by the Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region (ANCA-WR).

In early October, ANCA-WR hosted its first biennial weekend, DestiNATION, at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Over the course of the three-day event, a host of networking activities took place as well as the highlighted event, the “Kef-Kef” Gala where selected young Armenian American professionals received awards for their work and involvement in their respective communities.

Dr. Dorian was among three honorees to receive an award at the gala.

The ANCA-WR is the largest and most influential Armenian American grassroots advocacy organization in the Western United States. The ANCA-WR works in coordination with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout the Western U.S. and affiliated organizations around the country.
