The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. To help, the Beyond Loss Ministry at Glendale Adventist Medical Center offers its annual Holiday Gathering of Remembrance, this year on Dec. 12.

The Gathering of Remembrance is conducted in an intimate setting. Those who have experienced the loss of a loved one can benefit from the tenderness of the program and the support of the Beyond Loss team. The event is free and open to anyone in the community.

The gathering provides an atmosphere of physical and emotional safety, respect, acceptance and understanding. A light buffet will be served at 5:30 p.m. and a program of music, stories, and sharing of names will follow at 6 p.m.  There will also be a “Wall of Memory” for loved ones to post photos of those they have lost.
