The Women’s Council of the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation hosted it third annual Boutique Wine Tasting in October in the newly renovated council rooms at the hospital at 1812 Verdugo Road in Glendale. The gathering benefitted the hospital’s nursery and the planned NICU.
Council Chair Ruth McNevin said, “Our focus is to continue to help renovate USC Verdugo Hills Hospital to bring the latest in medical services in the right environment to the community.”
She added that Jeff Zitti of Rosso Wine Shop selected high quality premium wines for the event and the hospital caterers served a menu featuring a hot and cold buffet and desserts. Classical guitarist “Garni,” a Glendale College student, provided live music during the event. Attendees got an early start on their holiday shopping from the array of unique silent auction items.
