North Shore Burgers, a locally-owned company located on Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, has given over $5,000 to local non-profit organizations and schools in the immediate area through its Tuesday Charity Days. On designated Tuesday Charity Days, North Shore donates a percentage of its sales to benefit local schools and charities. The program has been up and running for over three months. Organizations that participated in the program include the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge, La Cañada Kiwanis Club, St. Bede School, La Cañada High School Boosters, La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce, San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School, St. James/Holy Redeemer School, Palm Crest Elementary School.

Partnering with local groups, North Shore is able to raise needed funds while bringing general community awareness for each specific organization.

“It was a win-win for us as we were able to expose our programs to customers while raising funds at the same time,” said Deb Jordan, executive director of the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge.
