News from the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce
Hello, Everyone! We are starting a new decade and I have very positive feelings about it!
I talked to several of our business owners in the Montrose area and they reported they had a very successful holiday season, so let us continue to Shop Montrose and make this new decade the best!
Did you see the parade? It was fantastic and once again, La Cañada Flintridge did them proud with a beautiful float. Of course my favorite was the Trader Joe’s float but only because two of my sons work for that great company.
We have a new member: Angeles National Golf Club located at 9401 Foothill Blvd. in Sunland. It also just happens to be the same place we will be holding our 2010 Installation & Awards Dinner on Jan. 21. The lady to get hold of for special events at the golf club is Carrie Contreras. She can be reached at (818) 951-8771 ext. 2. They have many specials going on during the weekend. Coming up on Friday, Jan. 15, the Blue Breeze Band will be playing and they will be collecting Teddy bears for the Foothill Division of the LAPD. Give Carrie a call for more information. Welcome aboard – the Chamber is glad to have you as one of its members!
We also have a new residential member: Brad Guske. Welcome aboard, Brad! Yes even residents can become part of our winning team.
