Tribute and Fundraiser to Honor Drew Ferraro on Sunday

Friends, family and community activists are holding a tribute and fundraising event in honor of Drew Ferraro at Leo’s All Star Sports Bar and Grill in La Crescenta on Sunday, March 4. The Ferraro family has created a foundation called Drew’s Voice to raise social awareness regarding bullying, suicide prevention and the need to provide kids with the proper coping skills for issues like these.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will provide various highlights throughout the day. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot outside of Leo’s there will be live entertainment and a car show, presented by the Early Rodders, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages are welcome in the parking lot during this time. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. inside Leo’s there will be additional entertainment and is open to anyone 21 and older.

Food and drinks are available for purchase throughout the entire event.

Some of the organizations partnering in this event are Prom Plus, The Firehouse and the Montrose Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce.

Golf Classic And Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, May 3 from noon to 4 p.m. at Verdugo Hills Golf Course, 6433 La Tuna Canyon Road in Tujunga.

Artwalk on Thursday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue.
