Introducing CBD Comfort Zone
CBD Comfort Zone, the first CBD store of its kind, officially opened for business in Montrose in September 2019. Stu Meyer, the owner, opened the store out of his desire to help others discover the benefits of CBD.
“[As a] cancer survivor [I] was left with debilitating neuropathy several years ago. To manage [my] pain, [I] was prescribed a multitude of pain medications, including opioids, and lived on a diet of Advil, Tylenol and Aleve yet found only minimal relief. After several years, [I] finally discovered a CBD cream that controlled [my] pain. It changed [my] life and [I] decided [I] had to pay it forward.”
Stu opened CBD Comfort Zone because he understood how hard it was to find high-quality, reputable CBD products on the Internet. He personally curates all the products he sells. He has visited the hemp farms and the extraction facilities and tests all products to ensure their quality before they are placed on his shelves.
“It is the Wild Wild West right now,” he said. “There are so many companies jumping on the CBD bandwagon since the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill and as a result there are a lot of expensive shoddy products on the market. It is my goal to find the best products available at the best prices. If you can’t afford it, it doesn’t matter how great the product is.”
CBD Comfort Zone is revolutionizing the way people shop for CBD by creating a calm and welcoming environment. Comfort Zone is a light cross between spa environment and boutique experience. Expect to learn how and why CBD works, have your questions answered and sample the products when you visit the store. Stu is an expert and he loves to share what he knows with his customers.
CBD Comfort Zone carries an assortment of CBD oils (tinctures), CBD creams (topicals), teas, coffee and gummies. They have a great selection of skin care products and bath bombs to keep you looking healthy and rested. They also carry pet CBD products for your fur babies! All the products are organic and grown in the U.S. CBD is non-psychoactive (doesn’t get you high), non-addictive and is legal in all 50 states.
CBD is an excellent natural alternative.
“Most of my customers come in because they are in pain, have anxiety and/or have difficulty sleeping,” Stu said.
CBD can benefit those who suffer from arthritis, neuropathy, sciatica, back pain, joint pain, neck pain, muscle tension and more. CBD may also benefit those who suffer from general anxiety or depression and seems to work wonders for sleep. Stu describes the effects of CBD as “it’s not what you feel, but what you don’t feel.”
CBD Comfort Zone is located at 2490 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose, just down the street from Trader Joe’s. It is open seven days a week for your convenience. Stop in and experience it for yourself.
CBD Comfort Zone has reached out to the neighboring merchants, the community and the chamber(s) to become engaged and a resource for important information. It will be hosting a “merchant connection” open house event in April. Look to the chamber(s’) website and social media postings for exact date and time.
