NEWS FROM THE MONTROSE-VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER

Marching into Spring: Ribbon Cuttings, Easter Extravaganza and Craft Beer Fest Await in Montrose!

February was a fantastic month of activity with engaging events, community involvement and exciting upcoming festivities on the horizon.

One of the standout moments of the month was our participation in the Glendale Educational Foundation’s (GEF) Principal for a Day program. We were delighted not only to take part but also to extend our support through donations. The event was attended by MVCC: President Adam Farnko, Vice-President Kimberly Fraisse and Executive Director Mavil Aghadjanian. They had a wonderful time at their respective schools and learned so much about what makes GUSD stand out. We are committed to fostering such partnerships that enrich our community and its future generations.

In February we also had the pleasure of hosting Gina Feeds’ ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of her market and catering sector. The turnout was impressive reflecting the warmth and support of our community towards new endeavors. Gina Feeds Market and Catering promises to be a valuable addition to our local landscape, offering not just cooking classes, ready to go soups and sandwiches but also contributing to the fabric of our community.

Looking ahead, March promises to be just as exciting with a lineup of upcoming events! We are thrilled to announce our 4th Annual MVCC Egg My Home event (the deadline for orders is March 25) (bit.ly/eggmyhome4). This is becoming a beloved tradition that brings joy to households across the Crescenta Valley as we spread the magic of Easter with fun-filled egg hunts and festive activities. We are excited to be playing a part in making such a fun and engaging event happen.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Montrose Craft Beer Fest on April 7 (bit.ly/CBF24). Beer enthusiasts and connoisseurs won’t want to miss this celebration of local brews and community camaraderie. With an array of craft breweries showcasing their finest offerings, accompanied by live music and delicious local bites, it’s an event that embodies the spirit of our vibrant neighborhood.

As we reflect on the past month and look forward to the adventures that lie ahead, the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) remains steadfast in our commitment to serving the interests of our members and fostering a thriving business community. Together, we will continue to build upon our successes and embrace the opportunities that await us. Here’s to a fruitful March filled with growth, prosperity and community spirit.
