Walk, Don’t Run!
It’s here! This Saturday, March 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Montrose Shopping Park will host an evening of wine tastings and hors d’oeuvres at our first annual Montrose Spring Wine Walk.
Thirty-one Shopping Park businesses are ready to pour 1-oz. tastings of their wine selections for you. Go to our website at www.shopmontrose.com to purchase your $45 ticket online by credit card, or to view a list of available in-store ticket sales. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales is being donated to our co-sponsor, the La Crescenta Woman’s Club.
Every Wine Walker receives 15 wine tasting tickets, a Wine Walk map, the “I Shop Montrose First” tote bag and a Montrose logo wine glass! But like the Ginsu Knife commercials … wait, there’s more! Every ticket holder receives a $10 bill in MSP scrip to purchase goods and services throughout the Montrose Shopping Park!
Here are some of the unique and special tastings being offered in this event: Loraine Paskett, owner of Paskett Winery, will be making a personal appearance at Aladdin Rugs showcasing her estate wines from Lodi. Casa Córdoba is pouring three indigenous Spanish wines from family-owned vintners Comenge and Albret. Look for some tasty hors d’ouevres as well. Quilt ‘N’ Things will pour you a riesling or pinot noir, then tempt you with goat cheese and smoked salmon en crouté. Like Pavlov’s dogs, we are salivating already!
Could someone be pouring Dom Perígnon or Château Mouton-Rothschild ’45 perchance? Not likely, but there’s only one way to find out … buy a ticket!
This week our Sunday Market features strawberries, beautiful tulips, and fresh flowers. For your musical enjoyment, the sounds of Frank Camara and for your shopping and dining enjoyment the many unique shops and restaurants throughout the Montrose Shopping Park. See you Sunday in Montrose!
