Montrose Food and Brewfest
On Sunday, April 9 the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 3rd Annual Montrose Food and Brewfest on the 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose. We are excited to say that we have over 20 participating breweries along with a local wine booth and The Soda Sommelier. There are also 10 local restaurants sampling their food.
Here is a list of the participating breweries we have so far: Brewyard Brewery, MacLeod Ale, Poseidon Brewing Company, Five Threads Brewing, Fireman’s Brew, Wolf Creek Brewery, Popcock Brewing Co., Absolution Brewing Co., Dr. Jekyll’s, The Great Beer Co, Angel City Brewery, Frogtown Brewery, Golden Road Brewery, Gordon Biersch, Hand Brewed Beer, Hanger 24, Shock Top, 10 Barrel Brewing Co, Goose Island, Elysian Brewing, and Kona Brewing Co. We will also have Rosso Wine Shop, The Soda Sommelier, free coffee from the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and free water.
We will also have food samples from the following restaurants: Town Kitchen and Grill, Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant, Thee Elbow Room, New Moon, Frank’s Famous Kitchen and Catering, Trader Joe’s, Giuseppe’s Pizzeria and Mountview. This event is an opportunity not only for people to come and discover Montrose and sample some of the great restaurants we have in town, it is also a fundraiser. The Chamber will be donating the profits of the event to the Glendale Police Foundation and the Glendale Fire Foundation to financially support underfunded programs for their departments. We want to encourage you to plan to stay for dinner or appetizers in Montrose. Many of the restaurants in town will be providing samples at the event and, because their places are just outside the beer garden, this is a great opportunity for you to dine at their establishments. You will have in-and-out privileges for this event so you will be able to go out and return to the event. Remember: this is a ticket only event so help us keep the line down and pre-purchase your tickets today at www.montrosebrewfest.com!
