News from the CV Chamber of Commerce

We love new members at the CV Chamber. Please welcome the following businesses to the Chamber family:
Grant Boerner is the publisher of the soon-to-be-printed Neighbors of La Crescenta-Montrose Magazine. Each month’s magazine will feature a cover story about a local family or point of interest. They’ll highlight voices of the community and business profiles. Grant and his wife Keira love the area so much they believed starting a magazine was a great way for them to not only get involved with the community, but to help bring it together as well. He hopes to provide a quality service to other chamber members and to help grow their business in the community. Grant encourages readers to reach out to him with any local news or suggestions for noteworthy residents. Call him at (310) 867-0130.
Mynt Shades and Awnings has been creating fine custom canopies and awnings for 20 years. Growing up in the city of La Crescenta has allowed owners Melik Nazliyan and Aline Nicoghosian to build many memories here. They’ve grown their business here and built relationships with the people and businesses. They love meeting new people and hope to do so through their membership in the CV Chamber, exploring the different cultures, people and businesses in our town. Melik and Aline would like the community to know they’re there for your awning needs but just being able to interact with new people is good enough for them! Visit their website at www.myntawnings.com or call (818) 319-9871.
Are you on a first name basis with your telephone and Internet provider? Here at the Chamber we are! It’s Doug, Doug Berrios. He’s the Crescenta Valley area rep for Spectrum Business. Spectrum recently joined the Chamber in the hopes of getting their name out to the community. They are proud to put a face to their product and want residents to know they’re here to answer your questions. Doug has a history with La Crescenta, remembering CV Park fondly from his high school years as a cross-country runner.
“It’s like coming back home,” said Doug. The Chamber office recently changed over to Spectrum Business and we’re looking forward to saving around $90 per month. Let them help you too. Call Doug Berrios at (818) 319-7544.
Sunrise Solar and Electric is our final new member for March. Owner Phillip Garbarino tells us that Sunrise is an all-inclusive solar and electric company. He also runs Sunrise Contracting so you can rest assured the construction of your new solar electrical system will be top notch. Phillip is based in La Cañada and can help California residents take advantage of numerous state and federal solar rebates. Phillip joined the CV Chamber because he has had such positive experiences with other chambers back in New York from which he recently relocated.
“I like to get to know and give back to the community where I do business,” said Phillip. “Chambers build a sense of community.” Check out what Sunrise offers at www.sunrisesolarandelectric.com or call 1-800-Sunrise.
