The Latest in Montrose Centennial Fashion

024
Along with a once in a lifetime centennial year comes commemorative fashion. The items pictured here were designed in limited quantities just to celebrate Montrose’s 100th year. They are sure to become collector’s items. I think they look great worn together as GiGi Garcia, owner of It Takes A Village kids boutique, is wearing them. She looks so cute, don’t you think? She’s all ready to Shop Montrose in celebratory style!

The theme throughout most of the designs is our own rendition of Glendale’s signature flower, the yellow hibiscus. A graphic artist was commissioned to do this design and the bright yellow flower adds a happy pop of sunshine that is fun to wear.

The adorable T-shirt pictured below is only $10. It’s a “must have” with the whimsical Montrose caricature map on the back and the centennial logo on the front. We have a size for everyone from S-XXL. For those cooler times or to wear to the beach, we recommend the $20 heather gray sweatshirt with the yellow centennial logo that GiGi is wearing.

The matching baseball caps are perfect for men and women alike. They are strikingly done in jet black with a fully embroidered centennial logo. They are $15 and we look forward to seeing lots of you wearing them around town.

All of these collectables are being sold at the Sunday Harvest Market where market managers Mark Sheridan and Linda McMenamin are happy to help you with your purchase. For an additional $3, we have the perfect market bag to use around town. It’s a deep green recycled poly-pro with a 10” gusset and holds lots of stuff.

Visit our Montrose Shopping Park Facebook page where we will post pictures of all the designs so you can see them close up. Thanks for reading and don’t forget to shop Montrose, where community matters.
