Celebrating the New Year at Aladdin Rugs and Fine Art Gallery
The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and it is officially spring in Montrose. In Ancient Persia, spring is celebrated through an event called “Nowruz,” otherwise known as the Persian/Iranian New Year.
Nowruz is the celebration of renewal and life, promoting peace and solidarity between generations of families and neighbors. With this mission at its core, there is truly no greater place to celebrate Nowruz than Aladdin Rugs and Fine Art Gallery in Montrose.
At the March 31 celebration, solidarity and peace were unanimously proclaimed throughout the gallery. The night was filled with live Persian music, dancing, generous hospitality, delicious food and drinks, and a raffle giving away over a dozen extraordinary rugs and hand-crafted goods to Aladdin’s many attendees.
Family-owned and operated for four generations, Aladdin Rugs has been a Montrose native for decades promoting family values, neighborliness, and excellence in customer service. In addition to providing extraordinary rugs and fine art from around the world, Aladdin also cleans and repairs rugs, restoring them to be family heirlooms for generations to come.
Visit Aladdin Rugs on your next trip to Montrose at 2237 Honolulu Ave., or give them a call at (818) 248-7844.
