Cinco De Mayo May Business Mixer

Please join us on Wednesday, May 3 for our Cinco de Mayo mixer hosted by Jenkins Properties. This is going to be a fabulous mixer. Jenkins Properties always pulls out all the stops on their mixers so you really don’t want to miss this one. Here is what Executive Manager John Kelly has to say: “We’re very excited about the upcoming Cinco de Mayo mixer! Our plans are all underway with a taco and margarita bar made to order! We will also have a variety of beer and wine choices. Our beautiful back patio will be filled with all of the Latin flavors including music and live mariachis! All the makings for a fun and festive evening. Best of all, our hostess for the festivities – Bea Blessley – will be there to enjoy the fun with us.”  

This is a great way to kick off your Cinco de Mayo festivities. And no business mixer is complete unless it has great networking and fantastic opportunity prizes from the local businesses. We will have both in abundance.

For those of who don’t know Bea Blessley, she is the heartbeat of Jenkins and a past chamber president. She retired last year from Jenkins and took seven months to travel the United States in an RV. She just happens to be back for a few months and will be at the mixer to tell you all about her travels. It will be great to see her again. We hope you can join us on Wednesday, May 3 for this fantastic mixer. If you haven’t been to a mixer in a while, this will be a great one to attend!

Then on Thursday, May 11 we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Poker Tournament to benefit the Glendale Fire Foundation to help them buy defibrillators for their emergency response teams. It is a No Limit Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament. ♦ 6 p.m. – Registration ♦ 7 p.m. – Cards Fly ♦

It will be held at J’s Maintenance in their outdoor courtyard located at 3550 N. Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. Your entrance fee includes not only the poker chips but also all your food and drinks for the entire evening! We will have tableside drinks and catered food including a taco cart, late night pizza, snacks, desserts and much more. Your buy-in of $75 gives you $2,500 worth of chips. Register by April 27 to receive $500 extra chips. Following is a list of sponsorship opportunities for the event: $2,500 Royal Flush Sponsorship includes: name/logo on all signage plus eight tickets to the event – Name a table! The $1,250 Four-of-a-Kind sponsorship includes: name/logo on all event signage and eight tickets to the event. The $500 Full House Sponsorship includes: name/logo on all event signage and four tickets to the event. The $250 Flush Sponsorship includes: name/logo on all event signage and two tickets to the poker event. All sponsors will also be listed on our Chamber website and included in social media posts.
