May 1st in Montrose – A Day You Don’t Want to Miss!

This Sunday, May 1 join us in the Montrose Shopping Park for our annual celebration of  Wags N Whiskers, Kids N Kritters. It’s going to be huge fun for the whole family!

The Glendale Humane Society will be there to raise awareness for their cause: to provide low cost shelter, care and adoptions for lost and unwanted animals. In Glendale, we have made a conscious decision as an organization not to euthanize our pets. Sunday morning, GHS will be hosting its annual Wags N Whiskers walk pet parade. Come strut your mutt! “Rain or shine,” our weekly Sunday Harvest Market “serves it up special!” Certified organic and fresh fruits and vegetables from local growers, an international food court and unique retail and service offerings in The Marketplace.

Add in the Wild Wonders Exotic Animal Show, the Young Entrepreneurs from CV High, strolling mariachis, Prom Plus Taste of Montrose, a farm petting zoo, pony rides, Kids Fun Zone and, for the first time ever, the debut of the Montrose merchants Kids Fashion Show at 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Honolulu & Ocean View and full day of fun is planned. Kids Fashion Show participants include fashions from It Takes a Village, Revelation Tops, J’adore Boutique and Village Boutique and soon-to-be Shopping Park merchant Veruca Salt. Montrose Candy Company and Bubble Cuts Kids Salon are jumping in as well. Stay for the entire show ’cause at the end there will be surprises you don’t want to miss.
