Taste of Montrose, Kids n’ Kritters & Wags n’ Whiskers

This Sunday the place to be is Montrose. There will truly be something for everyone. Kids can play in the Fun Zone where they will find bounce-able attractions, carnival game booths, hand-led pony rides and a critters-to-go petting zoo. Animal lovers can visit the Wild Wonders Exotic Petting Zoo, adopt-a-pet, participate in the Wags-n-Whiskers fundraising walk, enter contests or participate in the raffle for great prizes – all in support of the Glendale Humane Society. Food lovers can indulge in all the “tastes” that Montrose has to offer. More on that below!

Of course the Montrose Harvest Marketplace will be open for business selling California certified and organic products, collectibles, crafts and artwork.

Prom Plus’ Taste of Montrose will be taking place as well!  This is your chance (for a small fee) to not only get to have a “taste” of many of the great restaurants in Montrose, you will be supporting a great cause! Prom Plus is a $25,000 after prom party to provide a safe, fun place for kids to go after the prom.

Come out to Montrose on Sunday and enjoy all the great activities that are planned and support your local community and businesses. You will not be disappointed.

Taste of Montrose is on Sunday, May 6 along Honolulu Avenue during the Harvest Market. The Taste of Montrose is a wonderful opportunity to get a small “taste” of the many fine participating Montrose restaurants. Tickets are available for purchase at the Chamber Office.

12th Annual Foothills Relay For Life is on May 12 and May 13 at Clark Magnet High School, 4747 New York Ave, La Crescenta.

Artwalk is on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue. Artists will be on hand to display their work and music will be filling the air.

Memorial Day ceremony is on Monday, May 28 at 8 a.m. at the Vietnam War Memorial on the northwest corner of Honolulu and Ocean View.
