“There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from.”
Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
The Crescenta Valley continues to have some great events that are blessings for our town. This weekend, May 15-16, is the Foothills Relay For Life at Clark Magnet High School. This is a great 24 hour event raising money for the cure for cancer. Relay For Life gives the unique opportunity to contribute to the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission by fighting back against a disease that has already taken too much. Please support Relay For Life to fight back against cancer by making a donation or joining a Relay For Life team.
Your efforts will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information, advocate for all people to have access to screening and treatment, and offer free programs and services to improve the quality of life for people facing cancer. By being a part of Relay, you are joining a worldwide movement to help defeat cancer for future generations.
Another blessing for the Crescenta Valley are the new businesses that are opening, which translates to growth for our town. Mademoiselle Women’s Fashion and Accessories had their grand opening this past weekend. They are located at 3442 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta and carry European clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes, handbags, gifts and more. It is a beautiful clothing store with a very unique inventory. Please stop by to support this new local business.
