J’Adore Boutique Celebrates One Year!

They say if your new business can make it through the first year you’re on your way. Well, J’Adore Boutique has passed the milestone with flying colors. Owner Adrian Stark is a professional stylist and she’s on top of the latest celebrity-driven styles and brands. She has coined the phrase “wearable trends” and her cute French inspired shop has racks of the latest fashions that will inspire you. Most popular right now is the “little summer dress” like the one pictured above. Short, strappy maxis and minis will keep you cool and stylin’. Dittos, the iconic ’70s brand, is front and center with short, cuffed Bermudas, hi-rise skinny jeans, and skinny flares. Did you know that Adrian was on the TLC Channel and has designed for Jennifer Hudson? Check out J’Adore for yourself! They are right next to Faye’s on Ocean View.

Escape to Spain at Casa Cordoba!

Oh, the joys of experiencing the festive patio at Casa Cordoba for outdoor dining Spanish style! We went for lunch recently and when the waiter came to the table I just had to take his picture. His name is Angel (pronounced Ahn-hel), he’s an actor, and guess where he is from? The Canary Islands in Spain! Now how authentic is that!? Add to the picture the colorful tiled tables, flowers blooming all around, umbrellas, and Spanish guitar playing softly in the background and you have a destination restaurant. Did you know owners Chris and Jeannie Bone regularly travel to Spain to bring the latest recipes back to Montrose? In addition to paella and tapas you’ll find adventurous dishes like

cochinillo, roasted suckling pig compressed with citrus, spices, roasted garlic and spiced apples. Their house-made sangria is also a must.
