Merle Norman Cosmetics of Montrose is being recognized again with a prestigious sales award from the 85th annual Merle Norman Convention held last month in Houston, Texas. They were awarded their 18th sales achievement for top sales in the category of studios located in a non-mall, small town business district. The even more exciting news is that out of the top 10 Merle Norman Cosmetics studios across the country Montrose moved up to No. 3!
Proud to be recognized for commitment to excellence in small business, sisters Kris Kline and Kim Kelly are the driving force behind the success. Owners for over 23 years, they took the business over from their mom Eloise, which she opened in Montrose inside the Band Box in 1979.
The sisters say their success is a direct result of “on your feet” working on the sales floor every day along with their two amazing beauty consultants Sue and Nancy, combined with a great location and a community of loyal customers that is so very supportive of small business.
