New Member and a Shotgun Start
We all know Grant Michals and we associate him with Glendale Clean & Beautiful. But recently he joined the Chamber under a new company. Introducing Advanced Computer Technology.
Grant started this business in 2005. ACT provides comprehensive IT solutions to its clients, not just computer support. Whether you have a single system with spyware or you have a network that needs an overhaul, they can offer a solution. Having offices in Nevada and California allows them to have numerous techs available to help solve any issue that should arise. They also provide ACT GenuineCare managed services to catch problems before your company suffers a major outage.
Grant attends many Chamber and community events. We here at the Chamber appreciate community involvement and would like to thank Grant for his support. To learn more about the services his company offers, give Grant a call at (818) 749-0735.
It’s time to strap on your clubs and head out for 18 holes. Our annual Scholarship Golf Tournament and Charity Event is just around the corner. Proceeds for this event go toward scholarships for outstanding students in the Crescenta Valley and also to the Desi Geestman Foundation that improves the quality of life for children suffering from cancer and their families.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re an amateur or a pro golfer; all skill levels are welcome. You can register as a solo golfer for $125 ($135 at the event) or pull a foursome together for $110 each. Sign up at www.crescentavalleychamber.org/golf or call the office at (818) 248-4957.
We would like to thank those of you who have already committed to sponsoring our tournament: USC-VHH, Michelson Labs, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Ohanian & Assoc., Caspian Services, Micronics Inc., Rossmoyne Inc., Andy’s Transfer & Storage, Surface Fitness, Ideal Auto Group, YSR CPA Group, P.C., Foundation Law Group, FUNction and FITness, Extreme Boot Camp, JR Hardware, Steve Pierce and Panera Bread for providing our continental breakfast. After the game, golfers are treated to a steak and salmon lunch from Gelsinger’s. By the way, if you step up to be the top sponsor ($1,500), your business’ logo will be displayed on the dashboard of all the golf carts! The deadline to become a sponsor and be included in all our promotional materials is May 31.
So come on out and join us for this fun event at Scholl Canyon on Friday, June 22. Shotgun start is at 8:30 a.m. You can be back at the office by 2 p.m. … or start your weekend early!
