CV Chamber Welcomes New Executive Director
I am delighted to assume the role of executive director of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce. I have discovered that I am filling the shoes of some exceptional prior executive directors.
I have received tremendous support from the board in general, but in particular board President Steve Pierce and Chamber of Commerce advisor Jean Maluccio in assisting me in settling into my new role.
As you may know, we have our annual scholarship golf tournament on June 27 at Scholl Canyon Golf course, 3800 E. Glenoaks Blvd. in Glendale. This is a reminder that check-in is 7 a.m. Sponsorship opportunities are available. If you have not yet provided your sponsorship information for this very worthwhile cause – an investment in our youth – I encourage you to do so. For further information, please visit our website at www.crescentavalleychamber.org.
If you are interested in chamber activities, even if you’re not a member, you can receive our newsletter. Simply go to our website (listed above) and insert your email address. That way, you can stay informed with up-to-date news about Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce activities as well as events occurring within the community.
Amber Hood, assistant executive director, said that she would be delighted to assist anyone wanting information about our scholarship golf tournament. You can email her at office@crescentavalleychamber.org or email us at info@crescentavalleychamber.org.
I am extending an invitation to those who are curious about the Chamber of Commerce to visit us between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. We would be happy to show you around the office and answer questions as to what it is we do.
A personal note about how the chamber of commerce played an early role in my life: I am a transplanted Louisianan. I learned about the City of Pasadena, where I previously resided, by contacting the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. They sent me the information that helped me in my relocation. The chambers play an important role in all aspects of the community; visit the website or stop by the office to learn how the CV Chamber of Commerce can benefit you.
Please contact our office for more details on any event. How to reach us: (818) 248-4957/ www.LaCrescenta.org / 3131 Foothill Blvd., Ste. D.
