Business is alive and well in Montrose-Verdugo City. The Chamber has been busy hosting ribbon cuttings across the city in the last few months and more are on the way. On March 9, Arianna’s Pharmacy at 3600 N. Verdugo Road had a grand opening ribbon cutting. On March 16, Wellspring Therapy at 3700 Park Place held a grand opening ribbon cutting for their new fitness center. On April 12, Curves at 3715 Clifton Place celebrated their one-year anniversary. On April 20, the Montrose Pet Hospital at 2444 Honolulu Ave. held a grand opening ribbon cutting. On May 26, The Clothing Market at 2260 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose celebrated their six-month anniversary. In our current economy, the success of these businesses is a great testament to our city!
Next week, we have two ribbon cuttings that we would love for you to attend! On Wednesday, June 15, Techital at 3807 Ocean View Blvd. will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting at noon. Light refreshments served. On Friday, June 17, Copy Network at 3600 Ocean View Blvd., Ste. 9, will be celebrating their 20-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. They will be having a party from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., serving food and welcoming everyone to stop by to hear about all the services they provide.

Sex, Drugs & Social Networking on Tuesday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. is an expo being hosted by the Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition at Verdugo Hills Hospital. The event will include information on summer activities for kids and teens, an update on Coalition sponsored activities and programs and will feature keynote speaker Tom Lorenz from the Glendale Police Department talking about Sex, Drugs and Social Networking.
Artwalk on Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come stroll the beautiful streets of
Montrose and enjoy the art presented by artists from around Southern California.
