The Montrose Shopping Park is the place to be on summer Friday nights. What better way to chill out after a long work week than to relax in one of our many outdoor cafes? But wait, there’s more! What’s outdoor dining, overlooking downtown L.A. as the sun sets, without some live shopping music? Yes, the music will want to make you stroll right into our “one-of-a-kind” shops! Once Upon a Time, Revelation TOPS, The Clothing Market, It Takes A Village, Mountain Rose Gifts Critters, J’Adore Boutique and Billy’s Boardshop are just a few of the stores that are staying open later for your shopping pleasure. Come to town tomorrow night and start a new summer tradition!
How many cars are too many? There’s never enough when it comes to the 13th Annual Car Show in the Montrose Shopping Park coming up Sunday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All three blocks of Honolulu Avenue will be filled with classic cars, the likes of which you have never seen, and hot rods that will make you want to put your pedal to the metal. There will be great shopping too with the Harvest Market and sidewalk sales. Free family fun for the 4th of July weekend!
With summer weather approaching it’s time to eat lighter and healthier and our Sunday harvest market can help you get in shape. Last week I loaded my market bag with sweet strawberries, a mixture of stone fruit like peaches, nectarines and plums for $1 a pound!!! Plus squash, beans, herbs and a pot of nasturtiums for the garden. Every year we rotate our market and July is the time to move it back to the 2200 block (near Black Cow, Zeke’s, Walk This Way) for a spell. We’ll keep you posted on the date. Thanks for reading and shopping & dining in Montrose, your summer place!
