By the time you read this article on Thursday, our next Artwalk will only be two days away. On Saturday, July 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Honolulu Avenue will be packed with a wide array of works from some of the area’s best fine artists. Saturday promises to be a warm and sunny day, so why not treat yourself to a day in Montrose? Look over some fine oil paintings or watercolors, venture into one of the area’s unique gift stores and enjoy a wonderful meal at one of our fine restaurants. The MVCCC, along with its friends at the Crescenta Valley and La Cañada chambers of commerce, will be hosting the Foothills Community Business Expo at the Verdugo Hills Hospital on Sept. 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Businesses and organizations from all across the Crescenta Valley area will converge to promote themselves and their services. Admission is free to the public. This is one of the region’s highlights of the year, with much great food, entertainment and drawings to be had. Are you a member in good standing with one of the above mentioned chambers of commerce and would like to promote your business and organization at our Expo?
