Montrose Art Walk This Saturday

The lazy days of summer are upon us. It’s time to go to the beach, have a barbeque with friends, layout by the pool or take a leisurely hike. Our natural tendency is to slow down and take a break. So many of us are running around doing a “bunch of busy nothings” and really don’t have much to show for it at the end of the day. I want to encourage you to do something that causes you to relax and take a break and just enjoy your life. Why not take a stroll along the tree-lined streets of 2300 & 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue and visit the artists at the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce’s Artwalk this Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.? All artwork is original to the artist. There will be musicians playing and kids’ art! While you are in Montrose you can have lunch at one of the many restaurants in town, have an ice cream cone and browse all the wonderful shops on Honolulu Avenue. It’s a great way to relax, take a break and just enjoy being.
If you haven’t been to one of our mixers lately, I think you should stop by and enjoy a fun evening out with local residents and business owners from Montrose-Verdugo City. We will be enjoying a fun evening “At the Beach” complete with music, fantastic raffle prizes, food and a make shift beach. We would love to see you there. Our next mixer is on Aug. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at SIG Property Management, 2937 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose.
