As you know, the First Annual Montrose Food and Brewfest is this Sunday in the 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue and you don’t want to miss it! We are expecting a large turnout and encourage everyone to buy tickets online before the event at www.montrosebrewfest.com. It’s the fastest, most convenient, hassle-free way to get into the event. Our ticket booths will be open at 11 a.m. so you can come and get checked in, receive your wristband, then stroll around Montrose, have lunch at one of the many restaurants, shop in the shops, enjoy the farmers’ market and then come back at your entry time. VIP tickets guarantee early entry and cost $60, which gets you in an hour before the general admission tickets at noon. General admission tickets are $50 and get you in at 1 p.m. Since we believe we should all drink responsibly, our designated driver/food only ticket is $30 and you get in at 1 p.m. Your ticket price includes unlimited* sampling of micro brews and craft brews, as well as unlimited* sampling of food from participating local restaurants (*until supplies run out). Remember – this is a ticket only event. Tickets are limited, so buy your tickets now at www.montrosebrewfest.com. We will be featuring over 30 different types of beer to sample, several varieties of wine and three different hard ciders as well as 15 different types of foods from restaurants in the Montrose area. Glendale Fire Dept. firemen will be giving away free water and the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf will be giving away coffee and tea. There will also be a photo booth with fireman from the Fireman’s Brew Brewery. Bonus – you will be able to leave the event to walk around Montrose and have lunch, then re-enter to continue enjoying the samples.
We have two different blues bands playing and a DJ playing music in between the sets. Following is a list of the participating breweries and restaurants: Stone Brewing, Angel City Brewery, Eagle Rock Brewery, Golden Road Brewery, Hanger 24 Brewery, Karl Strauss Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Noble Ale Works Brewery, Fireman’s Brew, Drake’s Brewing, Wolf Creek Brewing, Coronado Brewing, Rev.
