You Can Never Have Too Much Fun!
This past Thursday, Aug. 5, our Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce enjoyed its first mixer of the year at Alissa’s Ocean View Bar and Grill in Montrose. Owners Alissa and Eric Hwang provided their specialty food samplings and wines for our members and guests and the fun evening was filled with raffle drawings for gifts, entertainment by keyboardist Tony DiGiovanni, networking, socializing and a members only drawing for a cash prize. It was a fantastic evening at Alissa’s Ocean View Bar & Grill!
Next, tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 13, our Chamber tees off its annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at Scholl Canyon Golf Course. Don’t play golf well? It doesn’t matter. The day starts with coffee and breakfast pastries, a thrilling putting contest, a bucket of range balls for your practice, a beautiful “goody bag” from USC Verdugo Hills Hospital filled with donated gift items, 18 holes of golf with some of the most spectacular views you’ll ever experience, a mouth-watering barbecue lunch, and trophies for our winners and even some for those who don’t do as well.
While there is still room for your foursome or a single entry, you don’t want to hesitate too long. Golf entry and/or sponsor forms and information are available at the Chamber office, 3131 Foothill Blvd. St. D, La Crescenta or by calling (818) 248-4957 or visit our Crescenta Valley Chamber website, www.crescentavalleychamber.org. So join us for some golf with your friends, delicious food, drinks, prizes and a morning of fun.
