League Hosts Open House Event

The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP) welcomes ladies from the Pasadena area and beyond interested in learning more about the League’s more than 85 years of leadership and service in the community. An open house is being held on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the League’s headquarters. The open house will offer prospective members the chance to learn more about the League’s mission to develop the potential of women, improve communities and promote voluntarism.

Open House board members President-Elect Sandy Roberts of Pasadena, President Marah Lyvers of La Crescenta and Nominating and Placement Chair Lina Hollis of Pasadena are ready to meet prospective new members.

This year, the League is excited to announce its move to a partnership model of volunteerism. The League is teaming up with the Pasadena Unified School District’s second grade public art program, The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, Community Assistance for Seniors (CAPS) and the Mothers’ Club of Pasadena to provide dynamic community impact.

The open house will be held at 149 S. Madison Ave. in Pasadena.
