“It is with a great deal of enthusiasm and pride that we congratulate Norma Ellis, sales partner with our La Crescenta office,” said Dilbeck president Mark Dilbeck. The occasion was to honor Ellis with the Emeritus Award by the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors (PFAR) at a recent Leadership Breakfast.
She, along with Jane Caughey and Veronica Terry, were recognized for over 40 years of membership in the National Association of REALTORS and for their valuable and lasting contributions to the real estate profession and community.
According to Dilbeck, Norma has always been focused on personal service, integrity and professionalism. These are the values that she derived from living and working in a small town and they are at the center of her business style.
One of the hallmarks of Norma’s staying power in the real estate business is her smile and sincerity for each person she comes in contact with. Norma has always believed in community involvement and giving back to the community that has so generously supported her. Over the years she has been involved in the local chambers of commerce, sponsoring boys and girls athletic teams and local schools support.
In 1998 the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce selected Norma as Woman of the Year. In 2001 she received the Community Service Award, presented by Senator Jack Scott. She is a past president of the Crescenta-Cañada Board of REALTORS; REALTOR of the Year in 1987 and in December of 1999 her peers once again nominated her for the same honor.
Readers of the community newspaper, The Leader, in 2000 and 2001 voted Norma as the Foothills’ Best Real Estate Agent.
