Tri-Chamber Business Expo Coming Up

Please come join the Crescenta Valley, La Cañada Flintridge, and Montrose-Verdugo City chambers of commerce for the 13th Annual Foothills Community Business Expo, co-sponsored by USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. This special regional event features free admission, entertainment, refreshments and opportunity drawings from many local businesses. This is an opportunity for the community to come and learn more about many businesses in the area from all over the Crescenta Valley. There are so many great businesses in the area that you may not even know about or you may find out more about a business you have heard about. As we all know, shopping local and staying local benefits the entire Crescenta Valley. Not only do our retail businesses need community support, but our restaurants, service businesses and tradesmen need our support as well. So, please join us on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, 1812 Verdugo Blvd. in the Community Rooms right inside the main entrance to the hospital. Parking is free and signs will be posted to help you find the entrance. The event starts at 5 p.m. and you won’t have to worry about dinner. We’ve got you covered. You can come right after work and eat dinner with us. Several area restaurants will be showcasing their food and you can sample to your hearts delight! Food provided by Dream Dinners La Crescenta, Casa Cordoba Café, Franks Famous Kitchen/Catering, Baked on Oceanview, Angeles National Golf Club, 7 Stop Pizza, Montrose Bakery and Coffee Shop and Pepe’s Restaurant. The Expo is also offering free document shredding by Allied Waste Services, A Republic Services Co. They will provide onsite shredding by security specialists at no cost to you. Up to five banker boxes per person allowed.

Upcoming events
A grand opening and ribbon cutting is today, Thursday, Sept. 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Harmony Health MD, 3600 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale 91208.

A ribbon cutting also takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at noon at Shoe Fantasy, 3701 Ocean View Blvd. in Montrose.

The next Art Walk is on Saturday, Sept. 21 in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Oktoberfest is on Saturday, Oct. 5 from noon to 11 p.m. in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue.
