“There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.”
-Douglas Everett
Congratulations to Robin and her team on their first successful issue last week of the Crescenta Valley Weekly. It is a beautiful paper for a beautiful town. We are sure glad they turned their dream into a reality.
Have you turned your business dreams into reality? The Crescenta Valley Chamber wants to help you do this. Come visit us and let’s work together to see how we can help you turn your business dreams into a reality.
One way to help your business grow is to join us at our Networking Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Urartu Restaurant which is located at 3463 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta. We will be joined by a special guest speaker, the district director from Congressman David Dreier’s office Mark Harmsen. He will be explaining the federal stimulus money available for business owners to hire employees. Please join us to network with other business professionals and learn about this exciting topic. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot by calling our office no later than Sept. 21.
Another way to have your business grow is to join the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce for as low as $99 a year with a $24 enrollment fee. Call us or come visit us to let us show you how much advertising you will receive for your $99 investment. Your investment is also an investment in this great community as much of our chamber funds are invested back into our city in the form of scholarships, grants and donations to community causes.
Mark your calendars for our next business mixer which is looking to be our biggest mixer ever. Leonard Ghazarian of Caspian Services, Inc. will be hosting our October monthly mixer at their office on 2946 Honolulu Ave. on Oct. 14, from 6-8 p.m. The mixer will be held in the back parking lot. Fatcat DJ will be providing entertainment, refreshments will be served and raffle prizes given away. Come and network with your business community.
Are you one of those people who live in a dream world? Do you face reality? Or are you one of the few that turn one into the other? Come visit the Crescenta Valley Chamber. We can help you.
