Since December of 2009, Harmik Derhartounian, DDS and his dedicated staff have been serving up a side of luxury with their dentistry.
The Flintridge Dental Studio has managed to achieve a Zen atmosphere, exuding a level of relaxation usually reserved only for day spas with expensive beauty treatments.
Instead of the usual cramped rooms with tiny windows and dingy walls, patients at Flintridge Dental Studio are treated to caring attention in open, airy surroundings with plush recliners and state-of-the-art care.

“I have yet to come across a practice that has everything we have under one roof,” said Derhartounian, who is also a physician with more than 17 years of dental experience.
Derhartounian and his staff go through almost monthly training to keep their skills sharp and have eliminated many of the old dental practice mainstays like lead vested X-rays.
Instead, a digital, 3D technology is used to snap detailed images of their patient’s teeth and gums with almost immediate results, which are viewed on sleek flat screens during visits.
They’ve also drastically cut down on the need for lengthy appointments with technology that can create an entire
tooth within the hour, which can then be placed in the patient’s mouth on the same day.
But just because he is efficient doesn’t mean Derhartounian wants to rush his patients out the door.
“We do not compromise on patient care,” he said. “We’re not insurance driven. That’s not how we work, not back-to-back. We allow our patients to be comfortable.”
All instruments used in the offices are sterilized to hospital standards by a machine that is quality tested on a weekly basis as patient safety and comfort is their top priority.
