OKTOBERFEST is almost here – can you believe it? Wednesday Sept. 30 – Oktoberfest kick off mixer from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Citibank located at 2350 Honolulu Ave. here in Montrose. Come by and get in Oktoberfest mode. Networking really makes all the difference.
Saturday, ‘Oktoberfest 3’ – This is our 32nd year of the most anticipated community event in town. We open at noon and go until 11 p.m. Bring your family and tell your friends. There are lots of fun things planned for the kids, adults and dogs beginning on the Main Stage area. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. is the Lil Master and Lil Miss Contest and the Best Dressed Dog Contest. There will be entertainment all through the day and into the evening. Sign up for the Hot Dog Contest sponsored by Schreiner’s Fine Sausages (8 p.m.) and test your strength at our Stein Holding Contest (7:30 p.m.). We have added a few new items this year so come on down.
