Members of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors surprised several community leaders when they presented certificates honoring them for their work. The honorees will be celebrated at a recognition dinner held in November. Safety personnel were selected from their respective agencies: CHP – Officer Manuel Rodriguez; Sheriff – Deputy Michael Winter; GPD – Officer Peter Robinson; LAcoFire – Firefighter Specialist Kevin White.

A new category was added this year. The winner of the CV Don Carpenter Award will be presented as a surprise the night of the recognition dinner.
