Montrose Merchants Appreciation Dinner

It has been a long time since merchants of the Montrose Shopping Park had an event where they could enjoy some good old-fashioned fellowship. We are all so busy, as are most of you, with running our businesses, spending time with our families, and living our lives. Merchant’s Appreciation Night was the brilliant idea of MSPA Communication Administrator Steve Pierce. Steve loves people and wants to see them happy and working well together. He overflows with creative ideas to make our community a better place. He presented his ideas to the MSPA board and it was agreed to set aside a Tuesday night in late September where our business owners could have dinner and get to know each other better. What an enjoyable and much needed evening it was! And yes, it was so successful we will be doing it again!
Our gracious hosts, Cucina Rustica owners Albert and Angel, were ready and waiting with generous platters of the delicious Italian cuisine they are known for. There were beautifully presented trays of antipasti, swirls of various meats, cheeses, stuffed papers, and bruschetta toppings. The main course buffet included perfectly roasted salmon with lemon and dill, pasta with red sauce, pasta Alfredo, and Italian beef stew. All was delicious!

Of course I was running around introducing people and taking pictures of everybody and the food. If you would like to meet all who were there you will find them on the Montrose Shopping Park Facebook page. It’s a great way to meet our merchants and see what is going on in town. In the meantime, our stores have embraced the fall season with pumpkin decor, Halloween candy, pumpkin lattes, ombre hair color featuring the latest shades of red, Halloween theme fashion, fall kids clothes and much more.
