Hello, CV Weekly readers! This month we have a lot of exciting news. As we all know, the holidays are fast approaching and that means a busy schedule for everyone packed with family, school and work celebrations non-stop until the New Year. In anticipation, I want to shine a light on an event and members that can help you look and feel your best, not only for the holidays, but all year long.

First, the Chamber of Commerce’s Annual 5K/Fun Run is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 27 and there is still time to sponsor and enter to run. The 5K is a perfect opportunity to burn off some calories and make some space to give that holiday turkey a good home. The race this year will be held at CV Park with registration set to begin at 7 a.m. and the race to follow at 8 a.m. Prepaid entry is $25 and guarantees a race T-shirt; the price will go up to $35 if you wait until the 27th. After the 5K you will be in need of some well-deserved rejuvenation and relaxation to prepare for the mental obstacle course that is the holiday season.
