Welcome to Two New Chamber Members
The Hallmark store in the Ralphs Marketplace Shopping Center has been in business for over 38 consecutive years. Sue Friedrich and Mary LeVoy, co-owners of the newly named Sue & Mary’s Hallmark, are honored to continue to serve the community with exceptional service. Sue and Mary have been friends for over 30 years and have 30 years of customer service and gift sales experience between them. They will enjoy bringing to CV the wonderful world of Hallmark cards and products as well as other unique gifts and women’s clothing. They joined the Chamber to be a part of the neighborhood, to learn from other businesses, to share ideas and information, and to participate in the vital Crescenta Valley community. Meet Sue & Mary and see their new store at their ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 12!
New to the Crescenta Valley and to the Chamber is Integna’s Orange Elephant, an interesting name for an interesting business model. Founder Archana Sudamalla leads computer coding programs and camps with a keen eye on what she considers the most important skills for any technology job – critical thinking, math skills, problem-solving and digital safety. In 2008, Archana, an electronics engineer and bio-informatician from U.C. Santa Cruz, founded the data-analytics consulting firm Integna that serves some of the biggest names in the tech industry. This gives her a unique insider’s perspective on the tech world. Archana hopes to supplement students’ public school education with her unique teaching methods. After only a few weeks, young students can learn to program complex applications and create simulations of real life problems. Learn more at their website: www:orangeelephant.org or visit their studio at 2620 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta.
