I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: You don’t get bored at our monthly Montrose Shopping Park board meeting. Here City of Glendale engineers shared plans to improve traffic in the area. Major discussion also took place about “What in the world is going on with the empty storefront where Rocky Cola used to be???” Lots of folks including neighbors and merchants are concerned and want to see action. Question. Is Benitoite ever going to open? It’s been y-e-a-r-s. Inquiring minds want to know … A new color of stabilized granite was ordered for our Montrose Gardens that looks more like dirt … We’re keepin’ it clean. The MSP is scheduled to be power washed following Oktoberfest … Seasonal lighting has arrived and installation begins early October. The trees will “go dark” in November until our famous White Friday event when the town will be lit before your very eyes … pssst we are getting a new Christmas tree! It’s going to be huge and real and colorful! … Plan to spend October shopping & dining in Montrose! Our over 150 “one-of-a-kind” shops, cafes and salons will get you in the mood for fall. Parents Night Out

OK parents, here’s your chance! Drop the kids off at Sparr Heights Community Center for pizza and a movie and enjoy a night out on the town in the Montrose Shopping Park!
