Halloween Shopping Fun in the Montrose Shopping Park!
The fall/Halloween season is in full force as we find ourselves in that time frame between Oktoberfest and Spooktacular. If you are like me, we enjoy it to the max incorporating seasonal décor in our homes, all things orange, cinnamon, simmering pots of stews and soups, and anything pumpkin. Many of our “one of a kind” stores are right here to inspire us with this year’s new fall goodies and treats.
Did you know that Montrose Bowl has over 70 different beers from around the world? Yes, you can book a midweek costume bowling party and sample a few, especially the German varieties.
If it’s a gourmet caramel apple you’re after, you must stop by Montrose Candy Co. Just the smell alone of all the new Halloween candies will put you in the mood.
To go with your sweets, Critter’s has a whole selection of hot chocolate mix-in tins. Try the Halloween Orange Hot Chocolate and the Vampire Brew. They also have unusual trick or treat bags to hold all of your purchases and use right up to the big night.
For the latest Halloween collectibles and good taste spook home décor, you’ll enjoy a trip to Mountain Rose Gifts. Pick up a jar of their pumpkin butter and pumpkin cobbler mix while you’re there.
Speaking of the orange gourd, you can also get your pumpkin fix at Paradis with their fresh made daily pumpkin pie ice cream.
To keep your shopping energy at warp speed, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is serving up hot and iced pumpkin lattes with pumpkin crunch coffee cake.
No Halloween season is complete without a dinner at Star Café. Enjoying their butternut squash soup under a “pumpkin sky” is an experience you will only find in Montrose. I look forward to it every year. When you go, you will want to wear your new Halloween theme top from Revelation Tops. Many women can’t resist adding a new one to their collection.
Sometimes it’s fun just to come to town and window shop. Soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the orange lights, and see what catches your eye. Bella Boutique is having a graveyard theme this year. It Takes A Village kids store has children skipping through giant pumpkins amidst fall leaves. And Pattye’s Closet will really entertain you. You just have to see it!
Do you need a Halloween flag for your front porch? Check out Twigs & Things. They are known for them. If you want to paint your own ceramic skull, Color Me Mine has them along with lots of other seasonal shapes.
So do plan to shop Montrose. We don’t want to become a “ghost town.” Come to think of it, all of these stores will be open ’til 7 tomorrow night for Shop & Dine Friday. It’s a great way to start your weekend!
