Crescenta Valley Insurance hosted a thank you lunch on Oct. 10 featuring the Tommy’s Original “Shack On Wheels” for local emergency first responders. The event took place in the parking lot at Crescenta Valley Insurance. The invitation was open to all personnel from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station, Glendale Police Dept., Glendale Fire Dept., California Highway Patrol and all local doctors, nurses and EMTs. Over 150 first responders enjoyed chili burgers, chili fires and more. The event was co-hosted by Mapfre Insurance.

“We were recently appointed to sell the Mapfre products and their marketing department wanted to kick off our relationship by doing something for the community,” said CVI President Rick Dinger said. “Being on the heels of Sept. 11, who better to celebrate than our first responders?”
