Giving Back to the Community
Giving back to the community is one way that the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce serves this community. Whether it is hosting community events, planning ribbon cuttings for new businesses, giving away scholarships to graduating seniors or organizing city of Glendale election forums so you can make an informed choice, we want to be a valuable asset to the Montrose community. We were able to give back to the community in many ways with our Oktoberfest event. We donated our leftover food to the Salvation Army in Pasadena and the CV High School Athletic Program and Pep Squad. We gave donations to the service clubs that volunteered their time to put on the event and we provided an opportunity for the local high school kids to earn community service hours for graduation. It is a great feeling.
One of the ways we help promote local business is through our monthly mixers. Coming to the mixers is not only a great way to network with other businessowners, it’s a chance to learn about another business in the community. Mountview Retirement, a business that has been giving back to our senior community since 1975, will be hosting our next mixer. This “Harvest celebration mixer” will be filled with all the comforts of home – good food, friends and fun. According to Mountview’s Business Development Rep Toni Williamson, “Our chef can create anything. He is one of the best in town!”
Here are some of the great things you can expect if you choose Mountview Retirement for your loved ones or yourself.
