Open House, Art Walk & Trunk Show This Saturday!
Have you ever had the pleasure of tasting homemade pumpkin flan? Well, here is your chance! On Saturday, Nov. 16 one of our favorite new “one-of-a-kind” stores, Gelsinger’s Amber Road, is having their first holiday open house! From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., they will be sampling an assortment of their fine cheeses, gourmet sausages, vinaigrettes, and a couple of items from their Thanksgiving catering menu, particularly the pumpkin flan! They will also have on display holiday baskets, gift bags, olive oil and vinegar sampler sets, and olive wood charcuterie packages. The gift baskets are completely customizable with small baskets starting at $10, and the large at $15. You can pick and choose from their vast selection of gourmet goodies creating a special gift. If you bring in a copy of this article or their CV Weekly ad, you will receive 10% off your gift purchases at the open house. This is one open house I don’t want to miss! I hope I get to see you there. Amber Road is right around the corner from Once Upon A Time Bookstore at 2016 Montrose Ave. Call (818) 957-7065 for more info and to place your Thanksgiving catering orders.

Dr. Julie Kim and staff invite you to check out all the latest styles or just stop in for food and drinks! Call them today at (818) 248-0828.
This Saturday marks the Montrose Art Walk sponsored by the Montrose-Verdugo City chamber. Stroll the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue, meet our local artists, purchase their special creations and enjoy live music! Don’t miss Trish Kertes (www.trishkertes.com)! She will be in front of PDC with her latest collection of French Impressionistic paintings.
I hope I have inspired you to shop local with these Montrose shopping treasures. Wait ’til you hear what we have planned for Thanksgiving weekend! Meet me here next week!
