Why join the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce? Because we offer many benefits to our business owners and are a dependable source for community information. It is our intent to promote, encourage, support, create, build and work. We are committed to helping our local businesses prosper and are here for the promotion of commercial interests in our community.

The website www.americanbusinessmag.com states, “According to a research study by The Shapiro Group, Inc. and Market Street Services, when consumers know that a small business is a member of their local chamber of commerce, they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it and 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from the company in the future.”

One of the benefits of joining this business organization is further exposure in our community. All members of the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce are listed in our “Best Business Directory” that is updated annually and provided to both members and non-members for free. We host several chamber events throughout the year that offer great networking opportunities. We send out monthly e-newsletters to all members and non-members in our email database. We publicize in the Crescenta Valley Weekly, Glendale News-Press, The Foothills Newspaper and much more. If you have something to share about your business, we are here to help. We can feature your business in our weekly articles.

Our featured business for this week is one of our new members, Fringe Hair Studio. Fringe is located at 3536 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. This salon was opened by Jamie and Jon Cripe in September 2013. With a team of skilled and seasoned hairdressers and a fantastic and knowledgeable esthetician, this is a team of ladies who all worked together prior to the new salon’s opening. The ladies of Fringe Hair Studio have built a family not only with their clients but with each other. This makes for a very enjoyable, warm and cozy atmosphere at their new studio. The salon is clean, welcoming and accommodating for a variety of clientele. They provide a wide variety of services including hair coloring, haircuts for men and women, and styling. They also offer professional smoothing treatments along with facials and full body waxing. Fringe Hair Studio welcomes walk-ins! They look forward to serving the La Crescenta community. Please stop in and visit the studio for your needs.
