Christmas Parade and Three Drunken Goats

Live from Montrose, it’s the 35th annual Christmas parade!

Did I say “Live?” Yes, I did!

For the first time ever, the Montrose Christmas Parade will be streaming live internationally on the web at www.montrosechristmasparade.com. You don’t want to miss this! It will also air on Glendale TV6 at various times after the parade on Charter Cable channel 382.

Please come out and join us for the parade. Grand marshals Jack and Helen Nethercutt are allowing us to use four of the world’s finest classic cars from their private automobile collection to carry dignitaries down the parade route. There will be marching bands, horses, local and regional politicians, local organizations and over 700 girl and boys scouts from various local troops. A parade not to be missed! And of course, all the kids will be waiting to see Santa fly by in the Glendale Police Department’s helicopter to usher in the start of the parade. Thanks, GPD.

But wait – there is more Christmas fun to be had in Montrose. Please join us for the Winter Wonderland holiday business mixer on Dec. 7 at Three Drunken Goats in located in the heart of historic Old Town Montrose. Owner Brandon Kim says, “We offer deliciously delectable Spanish tapas paired along with a wide selection of red and white wines and have a beer and wine bar.”

Tapas are a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold such as mixed olives and cheese or warm such as scallops wrapped in jamon serrano with corn remoulade. Put a few of these little dishes together and they can make a meal on their own!

If you have never been to Three Drunken Goats, this is a great way to try them out and become a fan. You don’t want to miss this mixer! There will also be hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps, roasted chestnuts, sangria, networking and a prize for the best scarf! We hope to see you there.
