The Montrose Shopping Park would like to invite you to an evening of “Christmas Shopping Therapy.” Where else in all of L.A. can you stroll down a peaceful, winding street as you enjoy trees, as far as the eye can see, wrapped in millions of tiny, sparkling lights? Many of our ready-to-wear and gift stores are joining together to stay open until 8:00 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 3, so you can enjoy an evening of relaxed shopping. We will be hosting a Holiday Open House with special treats just for that night. Most of the stores participating will be serving delicious Christmas cookies. In the 2200 block, Once Upon A Time Bookstore will be giving a surprise gift for those spending $50 or more. Twigs & Things, with all your candle needs, is celebrating their 15-year anniversary with 15% off your entire purchase. Faye’s (cozy P.J.’s), Bella Boutique (trendy fashion), Critters (fun gifts), and Paper Rabbit (stickers and paper goods) all will pay your sales tax on purchases made that evening. Andersen’s Pets will give a 10% discount.
As you head up the street stop in Mountain Rose Gifts (Christmas Home Décor) at their new location, 3808½ Ocean View, between COPPS and the Montrose Barber Shop. They also will pay your sales tax. Then it’s on to the 2300 block.
La Perla Design Studio (fine gifts) will be hoppin’ as they celebrate their one-year anniversary with a Holiday Open House and pay your sales tax. Holiday Hats & Gowns (elegant women’s clothing) will be offering a 10% discount. Revelation Tops (Christmas theme and party tops for women) will pay your sales tax. Montrose Candy Co. is giving away free Jelly Bellys with a purchase. Merle Norman (cosmetics and skincare) will have refreshments, stocking stuffers, and free gift wrapping. In addition they have a great gift with purchase going on.
So please do come out! Hopefully we will have a really good response and be able to do this more often. Saturday & Sunday we have live Christmas shopping music, horse drawn trolley rides, and Santa. Of course you will want to come back at 6:00 p.m. Dec. 4 for the 34th Annual Montrose Glendale Christmas Parade. We are making merry in Montrose! Hope to see you Friday night!
