Union Jack’s Tea, 3610½ Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta, held its grand opening with a ribbon cutting by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Nov. 23. Owner and curator Petra Marin offers “reasonably complex and slightly cultured” tea varieties with a “British flair.”
Pictured at the ribbon cutting are Crescenta Valley Chamber executive director Steve Pierce, owner Petra Marin with her daughter, a Union Jack’s worker, Vickere Murphy from Sen. Anthony Portantino’s office and JD Speas of Crescenta-Cañada Pet and a board member of the CV Chamber of Commerce.
